Do You find it difficult to wake up early like I do? 5 tips I use to help in the morning.

 I'll just put this out there without being coy, I hate waking up early in the morning. I always have, even as a child, getting ready for school was difficult. I have always considered it one of the most difficult tasks required of human beings to function properly in everyday society. As funny as it may sound, I know there must be others out there that find it just as difficult as I do, so I've decided to list my go to techniques to wake up easier and lift my mood. 





1. Create a bed-time ritual.


It is necessary to get at least 7-8 hours of sleep in order to wake up properly and feel energized for the rest of your day. The first step to being able to wake up earlier is to go to bed earlier. I know this can sometimes be difficult but try to stick to a consistent schedule and create a routine. I'll power off electronics, brush my teeth, get in to bed and snuggle with Baci (my dog) before i actually drift off. I definitely feel like the winding down helps me to sleep better & longer.



2. Drink Plenty of water before bed.


I always wake up earlier when I feel like I have to go to the bathroom in the morning!



3. Put your alarm on the other side of the room.


If you are already up and out of bed there is no point of getting back in so force yourself to leave those sheets it will train your body to be awake at a consistent time. 




4. Make your bed immediately after waking up.


It is extremely difficult to resist the urge to get back into your warm and inviting bed when it appears super comfy.   Always make your bed right away to prevent your self from re-entering! 



 5.Make an Espresso


I love espresso, it literally makes me happy! Also the highly concentrated caffeine helps give you that extra push you made need. Get your self a quick and easy to use machine, I have a Nespresso and I love it! 


Now as I said before, these are all techniques to help train your body to wake up earlier. I don't think I will ever personally find it "easy" to wake up early but I believe sticking to this routine makes it a bit more manageable.
